If you are managing your website from an external DNS provider like Cloudflare, AWS, Godaddy, cPanel etc, you can still connect your domain to your Olitt Website through A records. An A record is an IP address we provide for you to point your domain to from your DNS management platform.
To obtain the A record:
1. Login to Olitt
2. Navigate to Connect Domain under Site Actions
3. Navigate to the A Record tab as shown below
4. Copy the A record and paste it at your DNS provider. Do the same for the www record. Using both will ensure your domain works for both www and non-www URLs, eg, olitt.com and www.olitt.com
5. Once done, we will recheck your DNS records shortly to validate them, and your domain will then connect successfully to the website.
